Ranch Dressing

I was at the grocery store one day, trying to decide which commercial ranch dressing variety was the lesser of the evils. To tell you the truth, none of them are. They are all evil - VERY, VERY, VERY Evil! So, I made my own.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup Mayo (find the best kind you can; I like the Olive Oil ones personally because it means less Soybean Oil, plus they don't have HFCS - or you could be ambitious and make your own)
  • 1/2 pint Buttermilk
  • 1 sm clove Garlic - minced
  • 1 palm-full (approx a Tbsp) Parsley
  • 1 palm-full Dried Onion
  • Salt & Pepper to taste (I end up using about a tsp of each)

Directions
Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl and blend well using a hand blender (or us a food processor or blender). Add more Buttermilk to reach your desired consistency.
