Rice

This is kind of like the Brazilians make rice. I love it!
 
Ingredients
  • 2 Tbsp Butter
  • 2 Tbsp EVOO
  • 1 1/2 cups Long Grain Brown Rice
  • 3 1/4 cups Stock or Water
  • 4 Cloves Garlic - Minced or Grated
  • Salt to Taste

Directions
Melt the Butter in a sauce pan and add the EVOO and Garlic. Saute a bit, then add the Rice and Salt. Fry, stirring frequently, until the rice begins to 'pop.' Add the Stock or Water, cover, and simmer on Low heat until the water is all absorbed.
